A quiet space to notice God in your life.
Sometimes we need a little space to slow down and pay attention.
You may be facing a decision or transition. You may feel spiritually dry, overwhelmed, or unsure of what God is doing. Or you may simply want to become more attentive to God's presence in your ordinary life.
Spiritual direction offers a place to bring all of that.
Spiritual direction is an ancient Christian practice of meeting regularly with someone who listens with you for the movement of God in your life. It isn't counseling, mentoring, or Bible teaching. A spiritual director doesn't tell you what to do or give you the answers.
Instead, we make space together—to listen, wonder, pray, and notice where God might already be present and at work.
What happens in spiritual direction?
A session is simply an unhurried conversation about your life with God.
You might talk about something you're wrestling with, a decision you're making, a place where God feels particularly near or far away, or something happening in your everyday life that you want to pay attention to.
There is no agenda you need to prepare and no "right" way to come.
You don't even need to know what you want to talk about.
We begin where you are.
You might consider spiritual direction if...
You're discerning a decision or entering a new season.
You want to deepen your relationship with God.
You're feeling spiritually tired, distracted, or stuck.
You're wondering where God is in something you're experiencing.
You want to become more attentive to God's presence in ordinary life.
You simply want a regular space to slow down, listen, and pray.
And I would add one sentence beneath this list that feels particularly important:
You don't need to be in a crisis—or even have a particular problem—to benefit from spiritual direction. Sometimes we simply need someone to help us pay attention.
What is the spiritual director's role?
A spiritual director is primarily a listener and companion.
Rather than directing your life, your director listens alongside you—asking gentle questions, leaving room for silence, and helping you notice patterns, invitations, questions, and places where God may be meeting you.
The assumption underneath spiritual direction is simple:
God is already present and at work in your life.
Our work is to pay attention.
